The Clifton Cinema opened on 17th November 1937 with John Laurie in ’Edge of the World’. 888 ladies games bonus. It had 1,150 seats in stalls and single balcony, and a large cafe / ballroom above the entrance foyer. It was equipped with a Compton 2Manual electronic organ.
It closed on 17th October 1964 with ’Valley of the Eagle’ and was immediately converted into a bingo hall. Playtika rewards account.

Sedgley, West MidlandsThe old Clifton Cinema is now a Wetherspoon’s pub, having also been used for a time as a bingo hall after closing as a cinema. The building’s most famous haunting is the ghost of a little girl who is said to follow staff around the kitchen area and leave footprints in the wet, freshly mopped floor.
